the library is open

i have been putting off using this site for too long - a blank page really is a scary thing.
as a way to get started, i have updated the /about page and started a /library page.
there are plenty more links i want to add soon, and i anticipate updating it semi-regularly.
maybe there is something there which can be of use to you?
