the old guard 2 (2025)
the original old guard movies is one of my absolute favorites and this is not at all a worthy successor. the lovely cast is back, there are some delightfully extravagant fight scenes, and it’s queer as fuck. on the other hand, the ending is.. comedically poor, the pacing is truly all over the place, and on the whole it is so egregiously poorly executed that there is almost no chance now that fans will ever get any kind of resolution which especially sucks given how it ends (but i wouldn’t spoil that, now would i)
