you can use rss to get updates - read how here if rss is new to you
- with rss you don’t need to give literally any information to anyone
- there is no middle-person service to give you ads or slow down receiving updates
- updates won’t clutter up your email inbox
- you can build your own news feed of things you care about and keep it separate from your inbox
- rss is neat!
if you are ok with ads & don’t want rss, here is how to receive an email when something new is posted:
- assuming you are ok with getting one ad from blogtrottr.com (not from me!) per update email: go to blogtrottr.com
- in ‘feed url’ put: https://midnight-cinders.com/index.xml
- in ’email address’ put your email address
- most likely you want to leave ‘schedule’ on ‘as soon as possible’
- hit ‘feed me’ and you should get a confirmation email
- click the link in the email to confirm and it’s done!
the emails will not include the contents of the new post
emails will include the post’s title, subtitle, and link (and an ad from blogtrottr.com)
